A standard defition format for ECMs, with LT1 as an exampl

It could.. if the editor's were rewritten to use it. I kinda like the idea,
it's very powerfull stuff. And like steve said most languages have built in
support for it. One document could have all the info the editor needed, and
an ALDL monitor, and....

Biggest stumbling block, is someone needs to write a program to turn
currently available ECU files into XML format files, and graphically create
new ones. Nobody would want to hand code XML.
