Pop off valve

I used to have a 280ZX turbo and to the best of my knowledge, it was just a 
spring loaded valve sitting on the top of the intake manifold. No wires went 
to it period. I monkeyed with the wastegaste by putting a threaded coupling 
in the control rod from the wastegate to the diaphragm, but I think the 
pop-off was relieving the extra boost so it was to no avail. JW
