Metric/US horsepower?

Hmmm.  The only time I have seen this was in German literature, and it
stood for "Pferdestaerke," which means "horsepower."  In this case it's the
metric derivation of horsepower.  It'd be strange if the British used that
notation, but it sounds like that's what it is.
