Ok guys, I'm something of a tuning newbie but I'm slowly learning - I'm on
my fifth chip and (suprisingly?) my truck runs better now than it has on the
first 4, which is always a good sign.
My question today regards the 1227747 ECM. In my truck (a '72 Cheyenne/20)
with a 454 TBI & 350 injectors, I'm slowly getting the VE tables worked out
so my truck will actually accelerate half-descent and eventually I'm hoping
to get in a few more modifications to my motor and with adaquate tuning & a
new gearbox, give some of the local mustangs a run for their money.
Anyway, I'm noticing that the slow update time in winALDL is making it
rather hard for me to get a firm grasp on exactly what needs to be changed,
at least harder than it would be if winaldl updated faster than every few
seconds.
So my question is, what GM TBI ECM's will drop into the '7747's place with
no, or at least minimal repinning of connectors, and no changing sensors,
but have the faster ALDL bitrate?
