  I did a TBI 2.5 conversion recently.  I used a '7727 ECM with a TBI 
Lumina memcal, which was the closest to my configuration.  The Lumina 
had DIS.  My older RWD 2.5 had a distributor.  The DIS engines had a 
different crank and a different block for the crank position pickup.

  I was thinking of cutting some notches in the crank pulley when I 
noticed that the wire names and color codes between the DIS coil pack 
and the distributor and coil were the same, so I wired up the 
distributor in place of the coil pack.  It started and ran, first try.
