you can put a resistor in series, you can use a transistor with
a resistor in the emitter and the injector in the collector to generate
a constant current .... the "peak" function is where a charge is
dumped into the coil to make it open inna hurry and then the drive
settles down to a certain current to hold it open -- don't know what
those numbers are  ....  I don't think you need the "peak" part if
you're just trying to clean it or check it out -- only if you're
trying to make it open as quickly as it's designed to do
