Other GMs use a 2 bar map sensor instead of your 1 bar sensor.
Doing this usually means less precise MAP resolution, but
it gives you the ability to cover a range that's twice as wide (to +15psi)
Among other chages, they use the same 0-5 volt signal coming
from the sensor, and assume anything in the "upper half" of the
sensor's range is a "boost condition"...
Below is a base pulse table from a stock syclone..  Assume
that positions to the right of 50% MAP are boost conditions. HTH
