potting compound for ECM

The compound you need is called "Sylguard" and it is re-enterable. We use it in
our crash recorders that are installed on the Indy and CART race cars. It keeps
the surface mount chips from literally fatiguing off the board and rattling
around the bottom of the recorder housing. Good stuff. Crystal clear. You can
rip it out and rework the circuit if you need to. I'll look up the smaller
available sizes at work tomorrow, because I buy a 1-gallon bucket for about
$250.
