new to list

Hi, Im new to the list and wanted to learn more about EMS or stand-alone
systems.  I have a 91 mr2 NA(5sfe) and want
to transplant a JDM 3sge into the car.  I bought the engine as is w/o an ECU
or harness with plans
to do this with the help of a few friends.

Is there a nice learning resource anyone could point me to (book, site,
person) or if anyone's got any advice it would be
appreciated.
