US spec 2JZ-GTE. Hot wire MAF, good to about 500 hp in the OEM
configuration. Can be had fairly cheap from someone converting to
single turbo and MAP.

Trust me, I was expecting to count 40 so recounted a number of times :)
In addition I checked them against a 40 pin ic socket, so there's little
doubt. I'll pull out the AE86 ECU to compare. There's an Aus AE82 ECU
that I can take a look at, so will check that too. Hopefully they'll
have 40 pin ics.

That'd be Matti's site.
Just took a quick look - I haven't seen a hot wire air flow meter used
in any toyotas.. does anyone know of models?
