Well...
There's sooo much covered here that being in your position is kinda
like getting parts that have been thrown out by NASA. "I know I could
do some cool stuff with these things, if only I knew what they were."
The best way to go about things might be to decide what you want to do,
then ask questions and read the archives for relevant material. If
you hang around long enough, some of this stuff will eventually make
sense to you. I'm not too sure what an oopic is either, but I'm sure
I'll find out in due time.

IN>Guys, can you recommend some primers on the subject material covered here?
IN>He, I said *primers*! I'm very much into what everybody talks about here,
IN>but... I'm not an engineer -just a passionate hotrodder. The truth is that
IN>don't know an oopic from an icepick. I'm lurking in the background trying t
IN>pick up as much as possible, but would really like to get more out of this
IN>group.
IN>
IN>Where can I begin to get a clue?
IN>
IN>Thanks,
IN>
IN>P.S. I am the only communications major registered for calculus class this
IN>semester and it ain't 'cause I like math... :^)
