[Diy_efi] Cam duration & MAP sensors

I will be putting a V8 in my S10 and the cheapest way of doing this is to
use TBI injection. I would like to use a long duration cam but these seem
incompativle with MAP based injection. If the problem is low vacuum at idle
can I not use an external vacuum pump or resovoir? Why are MAP sensors and
large cam overlap incompatible? Secondly, would there be any bebefit in
using a BB TBI on a 327 SBC. No emissions testing to worry about.
