The lambdaboy is faulty in it's 'interpolation' of the AFR curve as two
straight lines. Not to mention it doesn't appear to be very well built.
Plus it's also a bit overpriced, compared to ours or FJO's products.
Another amateur effort, if that's what you're after, not what I or most
anyone else in the trade would consider a 'commercial' WB meter.

BUT, Fred Oberbruchner's FJO products OTOH are from all reports (and
also my dealings with him personally), both well-designed and made, but
also Fred's an excellent fellow to deal with. His stuff I have several
times recommended to others when an EGOR didn't fit someone's needs.

=46red had originally asked to negotiate a license to the EGOR design; I
told him if he was any kind of decent EE, he'd have no trouble working
out his own design (I wanted to avoid any entanglements at that point).
The rest is history. He had his stuff working, tested, and up for sale
within I think 6-8 mos.

Horiba's equipment has always been high quality, and also high priced.
Same goes for Bosch and ECM. At the moment, ours and FJO's are about the
only professionally built devices that are truly 'low-cost', especially
if you factor in quality.

Gar
