Search for diesel tuning or summat. "Stage 4 and a bit" conversions on the
(mechanically controlled) diesels are reputed to be 190hp and over 300lbft,
though longevity is most definitely compromised. There is a thread on the
above forum a hundred or so posts long and spanning 6 months, which details
fitting a larger intercooler, winding up the boost, and adjusting the pump
fuelling and timing to suit, can't remember which 'section' it was in
though, think Discovery.
