I have a pal who used to race pro motocross. Has built a LOT of CZ, Can-Am,
and Honda engines. He used to put a dab of dykem bluing on top of the
pistons and tighten up the squish/quench clearance until the bluing just
started to disappear (leaving shiny aluminium) when the engine ran----
that's a fair bit tighter than .018!
