[Diy_efi] Motronic ML4.1 disassembly ..

Hi All,

A while ago i've got the crazy idea of disasembling my Motronic ML4.1
code (the ecu nr is 0 261 200 119 and software nr is: 1 267 355 335).

The reason for al this work is that i'm trying to convert my AFM
Motronic to utilize a MAF sensor (hot film or wire).

I started with reading all Jim Conforti's (aka Land Shark) posts
regarding the subject. I unfolded the bin file from my ecu (copy the
first 8k to the end of the binfile resulting in a 40k binfile (b.t.w why
am i doing this ? I've read somewhere that the bin is executed from
0x2000 up, but al the interrupt vectors are in a lower region .. ?!)).

Then fixed the dis8051 operand files for the 80515 ecu. Tagged the
appropriate regions in the .tag file and started disassembly.

Now i have a huge assembly source file. What's the best way to start to
try and understand the code ?? (I already know the 80515 instruction set
from previos work with the 8051.)

Can anyone point me in the right direction ??

Thanks in advance,

Dave.
