Is it necessary to add a lubricant to Toluene when adding 10% to 20% by
volume to pump fuel?

You mean the rocket fuel. Lots of Toluene. Search the archives I think there
is a reference to the manufacturer.

My dim memory says that it was made from coal and used during WW2

Does anyone know anything about the emulsion fuel used during the turbo F1
era?
I think Ferrari or Porsche used it before a rule change made it illegal.
