[Diy_efi] New BMW 760, fuel pressure, direct inject

I'd assume that Audi put the injector in place of the middle intake valve on
the R8 motors, since they are 4 valve motors and not 5. Seems logical for
BMW to do the same. Considering pressure, DI gas engines don't have the same
static CR as diesel engines, therefore the required pressure is lower. If
your static CR is ~180-200psi (the M3 motor is 180), then the compensation
to overcome that is 180psi, although that 12Mpa sounds interesting.

Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety
deserve neither liberty or safety. Nor, are they likely to end up with either.
