[Diy_efi] peak-and-hold injector driver ic's

What do they use inside a current sequential ECM from any manufacturer? 
Some one must be using a factory P&H setup with appropriate amperage..You would
think at the OEM level that the board space and cost would be important and it
seems hard to believe they are all using saturated injectors.
