There was originally a factory go/no-go tool for
setting up the TPS closed-throttle adjustment.  Start
the bike, set idle to 1100 rpm, and check the tool. 
Adjust sensor, then idle, then check again, until you
get a "go" signal from the tool.

I have the supplemental manual for the GPz1100 here,
but not the base manual for the KZ1000/1100 (which has
the details on the calibration procedure and
reistance/voltage ranges).  Sorry I can't be of more help.
