MEFI 3.0

There is an article in the latest Hot Rod about Chevy's Ram350 and Ram502.
It says they come with the MEFI 3.0 box that was developed for marine apps.
Has anyone looked at one of these yet? Is it 332 based? Is it tunable (the
article only very slightly hints that it is.) ?
