    Read Plugs , Watch for "pepper" [ 2 much lead  / detonation ]. Tuning 
for Lean
    Best - power is the fastest in both ET and  Engine Melt Down.  Always 
tune to
    Rich -Best power. Not "quite" as fast, At least , you get to make 
another "pass"
    without scraping pistons off the bottom of the pan. Every engine is 
different in
    AFR / Spark tolerance.   In the end,  consistency wins. 100 lbs removed 
from
    car is about a tenth. [ Quick Answer :].
