If you set the min. air then the computer will use the IAC to try to get the
desired rpm. This will happen regardless. The TPS needs to be .54 +/- .075
I personally use .54-.55 but maybe closer to .60 would give better throttle
response since as soon as the gas moves it would start uping the % of
throttle. Not that picky yet :-)

I usually forget to reconnect the brake booster after removing the plenum
and am greated with 1200+ rpm idle. Usually it is pretty obvious. Get a
can of B-12 carb cleaner and spray all around the intake. If the idle goes
crazy you've got a vacuum leak. Getting the O2's to swing and BLM to stay
at 128 would be my first goal.

I don't recall seeing anything like that in the hac which I look at on a
daily basis. If I am correct the cells are load and condition based. Not
much to change. That is why the VE table is there.

It should be part of the tune-up when you buy a car. My TPI car is my first
car and I couldn't do anything to the car when I got it just over 3 years
ago and now I can pull the tranny and take it apart and put it back
together.

Think it has more to do with the idea that IAC is a vacuum leak. I'm sure
Bruce will have that somewhere is his answer since it is in the tuning tips
:-)

What about us young-un's we can stab at it too.

DanT - Know I will have worded something wrong :-)
