UPS put a forklift fork through the front of one of my $10K NOx analyzers
when we filed the claim they paid it we kept the instrument.
the real shame is that i had to throw it into the garbage, when i knew that i
could fix it for about $200 (in parts). all we did was take some digital
pictures send them to their claims dept. we do ship about 5000 boxes
with them every year though, mostly internationally.

Off topic, but when you give the parts back for a damage claim, you
don't

get them back. Even if it's a $250 unit with $25 of repairable
damage,

they keep it and eventually trash it.

It's a shame, but sure wish I knew where their dumpster is!

Would anyone have a set of stock tpi runners that they would like

or maybe just the driver's side at least ? one of mine got bent in
by ups.

  I have a '86 tpi system.

  thanks, Diane

 Diane,

FWIW , File a damaged in shipment claim with U.P.S. That way , you
aren't

cash out for their mishandling of the materials. This works
if party that

 sent

parts to you insured them @ a determined value.
